· $2,625,000 won for injured mover injured in an on-the-job fall down an elevator shaft. Injuries included fractured arm requiring multiple surgical procedures.
· $500,000 recovered for demolition worker who fell from a ladder. Injuries included a broken wrist.
· $340,000 settlement for woman who fell on a ramp in a lobby of a building. Injuries included a torn meniscus in her knee and torn rotator cuff in her shoulder, both requiring surgical correction.
· $170,000 won for co-op owner who suffered headaches and property damage from dust on construction site adjacent to his apartment.
· $122,000 recovered for man who fell from his bicycle after being struck by a "pedicab". Injuries included a fractured thumb. This is the first known recovery on behalf of a "pedicab" accident victim in New York."
Personal Injury Results (on behalf of defendants):
· Won dismissal of lead poisoning case against owner of apartment building. Infant plaintiffs were claiming permanent disability due to lead poisoning.
· Won dismissal of personal injury case arising from a fall outside clients' commercial office building.
Recent Business Law Results
Business Law results are difficult to report because they are mostly covered by confidentiality agreements designed to protect business models, trade secrets and even the existence of a dispute (confidential dispute submission agreements).
